Long Night of Dance 

Willkommen-Bienvenue-Welcome to the  Berlin Long Night of Dance 

For the first time Tanz der Kulturen Berlin eV presents the long night of dance under the motto:

"Here the bear dances."

On June 8th, 2013, more than 100 dance schools will present their offers to Berliners and guests of the capital. Whether tango, salsa or hip-hop, there is something for everyone in the colorful
Dance palette of Berlin. At more than 30 locations people dance, watch and of course participate.

On this evening, the Berlin dance schools will for the first time receive a  large presentation platform - all of Berlin - and can count on a considerable increase in the number of participants.
Renowned dance artists and experienced dance teachers invite you to their performances and presentations. With professional dance instruction, everyone can take the first steps and try out new dances.

The event starts in the afternoon with a program for children and young people. In addition to the ballet and children's dance courses and schools, there are also youth and leisure clubs with the latest dance trends. 

Everywhere in Berlin, a wide variety of dance facilities open their doors on this evening. In this way, dance enthusiasts can discover and get to know Berlin and its "dancing side", 
experience and enjoy. The artistic dance scene  in Berlin is thriving and a lot of the unknown and unexpected can be discovered along the way. The variety of events, but above all the direct contact with the artists, dance schools and dance teachers makes the Long Night of Dance a new highlight in the Berlin calendar of events. 

Objective: 
Dance as a form of communication that knows no language differences is a way to better understanding and more tolerance, especially in multicultural Berlin. As a leisure activity, dancing is a wonderful combination of movement and music that appeals to all the senses. The Berlin dance culture scene introduces itself:

• More than 30 Berlin dance schools and courses present themselves to a wide audience, draw attention to themselves and recruit new participants.

• Interested parties will be informed on the spot about the current offers and entry opportunities.

• Dance teachers introduce themselves and their dance styles, give short dance instructions and taster courses. 

• New, unknown and exotic world dances get the opportunity  to find followers.

• Get to know the intercultural diversity of Berlin through dance.    

• There will be a 32-page information brochure on the long night of dance, which will be distributed free of charge.

This will be printed in color, in DIN A6 format, in an edition  of 20,000 pieces, laid out in many places and distributed in advance in several distribution campaigns in pedestrian zones in various neighborhoods. You are welcome to use it to advertise your school or company. In addition, we will of course display your logo on our posters.
